FALL OF EMPYREAN Hard At Work On New Material

June 8, 2009

Tempe, Arizona-based "melodic and emotional doom/death metal" band FALL OF EMPYREAN has issued the following update:

"We are working hard at writing new material. We already have two new songs down that we are practicing, and have a few others that are being written. The two new songs are called 'No Absolution' and 'The Heart Corrodes', and these are, by far, the most emotional songs we have ever written. And, that trend will continue for the rest of the songs we write for the next album, it will definitely be the most diverse and emotional album yet."

FALL OF EMPYREAN recently inked a four-album deal with Germany's Grau Records. The group's first release for Grau will be the band's long-delayed third full-length CD, "A Life Spent Dying", which was completed in 2007 with Ryan Butler of Arcane Digital Recording studios in Chandler, Arizona. An official release date for the effort has yet to be announced.

FALL OF EMPYREAN was established in the year 2000, to this day depressing the world with its effective brand of emotional doom/death metal. Throughout the years, the band has gained a strong following throughout not only the United States, but also mainland Europe, Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltic states, Japan, South Korea, South America, Mexico, Australia, and a number of other countries.

FALL OF EMPYREAN is:

Justin Burning - Guitar
Ron Clark - Guitar
Kevin Leeds - Keyboard
Daniel Sobeck - Bass
